Breath in Motion
Breath in Motion is an exploration of the interconnectedness of breath and movement through yoga and dance in motion. The exercises of traditional yogic practices will be adapted to a dance flow in a relaxed and joyful way, whilst keeping us in a state of mindfulness. In this way, yoga and dance unite.
In the flow of the class the emphasis will lay on your self-experience, through the states of stillness and motion.
We will share how yogic techniques and principles can be incorporated in a very natural way in movement.
- Entering in the NOW
- Sukshma Vyayama (Soft joint movement warming up exercises)
- Pranayama and Kriya/Breathing and purification techniques
We will focus on transforming our movements in synergy with our breath into an organic and interconnected dance.
- Breathing your dance
- Listening with the body
- Co-creation in movement
- Coming back to stillness
The session is open for all curious being that would like to explore the connection between yoga, dance and their natural flow of breath.
