Pink Turns Blue

Formed in 1985 in the first generation of gothic rock and named after a Hüsker Dü song, today Pink Turns Blue is Mic Jogwer (vocals, guitar), Paul Richter (drums) and Luca Sammuri (bass).

Their debut album 'If Two Worlds Kiss' advanced the darkwave sub-genre while becoming a seminal post-punk album. Emerging from the fear and uncertainty of Cold War Germany, they have since released a dozen full-length LPs.

Both the 'Tainted' LP and the new EP relate to a world in havoc and the seemingly powerlessness of today's youth to take over the world and change it for the better.

This album is also a call to never give up, to never lose faith or the understanding that making this world just a bit better every day is what makes our lives worth living.

Midas Fall

Combining elements of electronica, post-rock and alternative rock with progressive and gothic undertones, Scottish band Midas Fall have carved a distinctive and captivating sound, creating taut, shimmering soundscapes led by the hauntingly melancholic vocals of Elizabeth Heaton - a sound described as “ethereal, haunting and bewitching. They work on another plane, post rock melancholy with the icy beauty associated with the electronica of Olafur Arnalds.” (Prog Magazine)

After the release of their fourth full-length album, ‘Evaporate’, (on Monotreme Records) they were met with outstanding reviews. Receiving a highly coveted invitation to play at Robert Smiths Meltdown Festival, ArcTanGent Festival and Gloomaar Festival, as well as headlining tours in the UK and Europe. In 2018 the band won best Limelight Act at the Progressive Music Awards.

With recording now complete, 2023 will see the release of their fifth album plus a collection of cover songs and new material.

In September 2015 Midas Fall released their third album 'the Menagerie Inside' (Monotreme Records), followed by a month-long European tour later in the year with Canadian musician Raised by Swans. The album, mastered by Ed Brooks (Pearl Jam, Death Cab for Cutie, Caspian), received excellent press around the world.

2014 Saw Midas Fall complete a Balkans mini-tour and begin work on their third album.

In April 2013 Midas Fall released their second album, 'Wilderness’ (Monotreme), which they followed up with the release of 3-track EP. ‘Fluorescent Lights’, and a full UK and European tour. The band shared the stage with Chvrches, Deaf Havana, Her Name is Calla and label mates Sleepmakeswaves, in addition to headlining a show at the Norwich Sound and Vision festival.

2012 saw the band perform at Switzerland's Deadline Festival, share the stage with label mates 65daysofstatic and Reigns in London at the Monotreme Records 10th Birthday party, perform headline slots in London and Budapest and support We Were Promised Jetpacks and Her Name is Calla.

2011 saw Midas Fall complete their first European tour, including a slot at Belgium's Dunk! Cinema, sold-out shows in Athens, Sofia, Glasgow, Manchester and London, play Germany's Dark Spring Festival in addition to supporting label-mates Jeniferever and Kerrang! favourites Hawk Eyes. 2011 also saw the band secure endorsements from JHS Hornby (Fret King Guitars), Diago, DiPinto Guitars, Dava Picks and Lion Cajon Drums.

Their debut album 'Eleven. Return and Revert' had its worldwide release with Monotreme in April 2010, garnering numerous glowing reviews comparing them to the likes of Portishead and Explosions in the Sky.

Midas Fall previously supported Japanese post-rockers Mono and had their track 'MovieScreens' synced on BBC3's Lip Service soundtrack - a soundtrack which charted in the UK's top 20 and has since been released in Canada and Australia, increasing the bands overseas following.

IAMNOONE

Sometimes, a path one chooses, crosses another path chosen by a like-minded person.

Iamnoone was born at one of these crossroads.

The darkness, the abysses, the solitudes, but also the search for the Light and for the awareness allowed us to see each other and to speak the language we had in common: music. Through that, we explore the limits of the soul and the perks of being peculiar human beings: feeling no one for the rest of the world, but finding a common goal in losing each Ego in the embrace of Music.

Cold wave, dark wave, occult wave could be genres that give an idea about Iamnoone music.

Solid drum base with nostalgically retro sounding synths, the pound of the five strings bass with unobtrusive riffs of the bass VI, the vocals fading with the whole musical picture, and the piano adding its unique colours; everything is shrouded in the atmosphere of a dream, of a trip to the deep self, of a search for the inner light.

We believe only through being no one we can, at last, reach peace.

I - the one entity we become through music
am - we feel, therefore we are
no one - nobody, but also no one in particular

Maybe in everyone there is a no one.
