3D Printing with Ceramics for english speakers

with a maximum of five participants (the course takes place with a minimum of 4 participants)

Part 2: Glazing and Colors: 01.10.2024

In this 3D printing course, you will learn the basics of ceramic 3D printing. By participating in this course, you will gain access to the ceramic 3D printer at Dynamo and will be able to use it independently during opening hours.

Throughout this course, we will first familiarize ourselves with the basics of ceramic materials. Next, we will delve into the topic of 3D printing with a focus on ceramics and explain its various aspects. Additionally, we will cover the fundamentals of Fusion CAD, where we will design digital shapes and then physically print them using ceramics.

On the second day of the course, we will glaze the printed pieces after firing and subject them to a second firing process. This means that at the end of the course, you will be able to pick up your own glazed and fired ceramic 3D prints at Dynamo.

Insurance is the responsibility of the participants (Don't worry, the course is not dangerous).
