RE:BARRED - exhibition / performance / music

This event, includes exhibited works, performances and music. The title RE:BARRED is associated with infrastructure and subjectivity, embodied in the reinforcement of concrete as well as the construction of barriers and divisions. Barring provides integrity as well as limitation, enforcing a fundamental split in what it includes, excludes, structures and keeps together. - Arya Rambod and Pedro Redard. 

Pedro José Redard Kostner (b. 2004, Chile) is an interdisciplinary artist at the moment residing in Zürich. His work is driven by a pursuit of subjectivity as a dynamic and volatile force. Through imagery, poetry and technique, he pushes subjectivity to its limits, collaging personhood in latent tension with the contemporary psychological landscape shaped by the relentless processing, fracturing, and coercion of identity. Arya Rambod (b. 2004, Iran) is an interdisciplinary artist currently based in Zurich. His work explores the relationship between infrastructure, human behaviour, and economy through moving image, installation, and digital media. Combining research with experimentation, he reconfigures infrastructural systems within affective and historical frameworks, exposing their latent tensions. Instagram: @zalnus
