Tufting Course

This beginner-friendly rug tufting course is your chance to turn wool into something both beautiful and eyecatching. Whether it's a cozy rug for your home or a unique design object, you'll learn the entire process—from sketch to finished piece.

We'll walk you through using a tufting gun, setting up your frame, transferring the design, tuft the piece and glue your rug. By the end of the 4 hours session, you’ll have your own handcrafted tufted piece—approximately 40 cm in diameter.

No experience needed—just bring your creativity and ideas and feel free to come along with a design or drawing you wish to create. In this hands-on course you will experience tufting as a fun and colorful way to make something meaningful with your own hands.

Led by the collective Thea Kuta and OH!, hosted at Dynamo. This course also gives you a practical skill to build on. Once you've completed the workshop, you're welcome to return and use the tufting space and materials during Dynamo’s regular opening hours.
